Master Student, TUM EI

Hi, I'm Cheng Qian. I'm currently a master student of Technical University of Munich, majoring electrical engineering and information technology. My main research focuses on Robotics and Deep Learning. So far, I have done some research works on medical robot, mobile robot and reinforcement learning. I am currently looking for a master's thesis and Ph.D opportunities to further conduct research and expand my knowledge in this field.

Research &
Projects

My current research at TUM's CAMP chair (Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures & Augmented Reality) involves working on deep reinforcement learning, focusing on path planning for robotic ultrasound scanning. I'm also currently working as a research assistant at the FML chair for process planning of a dual-arm mobile robot. Besides, I am excited to announce that our paper "Comparison of Dynamic Tomato Growth Models for Optimal Control in Greenhouses" has been published and will be demonstrated on September 4th at AGRETA2023.
